    Job description

    Digital Marketing Manager
    Are you innovative and passionate about current trends and creating digital marketing campaigns with a keen eye on optimizations and results? Stonz is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to drive growth and optimize performance across all digital channels. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role involves strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration with cross-functional teams being responsible for owned, earned and paid platform results.
    Objectives of this role:

    • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, customer acquisition, and retention.
    • Optimize performance across owned, earned, and paid digital platforms.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth for all channels.

    Responsibilities:

    General
    • Manage and remain current with marketing tools and strategies, leading integrated digital campaigns from concept to execution for all owned, earned and paid activities.
    • Management of the customer funnel leading to e-commerce sales for all digital channels.
    • Manage KPI’s, reporting, analytics, on all e-commerce platforms.
    • Managing and coordinating the content and user experience within the platform tools, features, and capabilities primarily for Stonz.com website and B2B platforms.
    • Planning and strategy support with CMO for added growth strategies, functionality, future capabilities to meet business goals.
    • Project management of digital-centric marketing projects with team members.
    • Working with Digital Coordinator on deployment of integrations, trafficking of content on all digital channels such as Google, YouTube, Social, Amazon, etc.

    Website Management:
    • Manage the company’s website functionality, performance, ensuring alignment and optimal user experience, functionality and app management.
    • Manage the migration of Shopify to Shopify Plus. Experience with Shopify Plus an asset.
    • Work with marketing communications team for all content, imagery, copy, content to support website experience.
    • Coordinating content changes with new product and style changes with operations and marketing.
    • SEO management of brand key words, meta descriptions, and all requirements for searchability on all platforms including social media, Google, Amazon, YouTube and expanded channels.

    Third-Party Platforms:
    • Coordinate all 3rd party platforms with support from the operations & product team members.
    • Manage third-party e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, other dropping shipping channels) for channel sales growth.
    • Coordinate content changes, product listings, and pricing changes with internal stakeholders and platforms.
    • Explore expansion opportunities to new platforms and applications for revenue growth.
    • Affiliates management and revenue growth with third party networks

    Paid Advertising
    • Plan and execute paid search (PPC), display advertising, and other paid campaigns across all channels.
    • Optimize campaigns and spend based on performance metrics (ROI, KPIs).

    Reporting and Optimization:
    • Growth, reporting, and results: Year over Year, Month over Month, and Week over Week
    • Analyze performance data across all digital channels.
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Implement data-driven optimizations to enhance ROI.
    • Maintain and report weekly on metrics and results to key stakeholders.

    Skills and qualifications:
    • Digitally savvy across web, social media, apps and customer facing channels with a passion for staying on top of trends.
    • Experience with e-commerce platforms (including Shopify, third parties like Amazon, etc.).
    • Results oriented with experience managing tracking, results and KPI’s.

    • We work from home Mon/Wed/Fri
    • In-office Tuesday/Thursday

    We are STONZ (www.stonz.com) — MAKING OUTSIDE EASY! We are a fast-growing Canadian premium brand specializing in baby & children's footwear and apparel for ages 0-6 years old. Our mission is to Make Outdoor Easy for both kids and parents, with award-winning, kid-centric, and long-lasting products for every season.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential retailers in the children’s shoes and apparel market. Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, and attending trade shows and events in assigned territories to generate leads and build a robust sale pipeline.
    • Client Relationships Management: Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective retailers to understand their needs, preferences, and purchasing patterns.
    • Product Presentation: Conduct engaging in-person and/or virtual product presentations to highlight the features, benefits, and uniqueness of Stonz’ product assortments. Effectively communicate our brand’s story, mission, and commitment to prospective buyers.
    • Negotiation and Closing: Collaborate with retailers to negotiate pricing and conditions to secure sales agreements and overcome objections to drive successful deal closures.
    • Sales Reporting: Partnered with the US Sales Manager to maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, meetings, and sales order using JOOR platform.
    • Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences and competitor activities related to baby & children’s shoes and apparel.

    Requirements:
    • Proven record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the baby & children’s footwear and apparel market.
    • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.
    • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, related field, or equivalent experience.

    Compensation
    This is a commission-based position with uncapped earning potential. Successful candidates will receive competitive commissions on sales generated.

    Location
    This role is external to Stonz as an independent sales representative based in the USA and will require regular travel within their assigned territories.
