STONZ Referral Program Terms and Conditions

 

STONZ ("STONZ", "we", "our", or "us") offers customers the opportunity to participate in our Referral Program (the "Program"). By participating in the Program, you agree to these Referral Program Terms & Conditions ("Referral Terms").

STONZ reserves the right to update, modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program or these Referral Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any changes.

1. How the Referral Program Works

Referrer

A Referrer is an existing STONZ customer who signs up for the Referral Program and receives a unique referral link.

Referred Friend

A Referred Friend is a new customer who clicks the Referrer's unique referral link or referral invite sent to them by email, enters their email address in the referral pop-up, and completes a qualifying purchase.

The Referrer and Referred Friend must be two different individuals. Self-referrals are not permitted.

Referral Rewards

When a Referred Friend clicks the unique referral link and submits their email address or receives an email invite from a referrer

  • They will immediately receive a 15% off coupon
  • The coupon will be displayed in the referral pop-up and a copy will also be sent to the email address provided.
  • The coupon is valid on purchases of $50 or more.
  • The coupon must be entered manually during checkout and is not automatically applied.

Referrer Reward

When the Referred Friend completes a qualifying purchase of $50 or more the Referrer will receive a 15% off coupon via email 35 days after the qualifying purchase date.

The 35-day waiting period allows time for order verification and any applicable return period.

2. Coupon Expiry

All referral coupons:

  • Expire 30 days after they are issued.
  • Cannot be reissued once expired.
  • Have no cash value.
  • Are non-transferable.

3. Eligibility

To participate in the Referral Program, participants must:

  • Be the age of majority in their province, state, or territory.
  • Be residents of Canada or the United States.
  • Sign up for the STONZ Referral Program.
  • Refer new customers who have not previously placed an order with STONZ.
  • Use the Referral Program for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

STONZ reserves the right to determine participant eligibility at its sole discretion.

4. Qualifying Referrals

A referral qualifies when:

  • The Referred Friend accesses STONZ using the Referrer's unique referral link or
  • The Referred Friend enters their email address through the referral pop-up.
  • The Referred Friend completes a purchase of $50 or more
  • The qualifying purchase is successfully processed and is not cancelled, refunded, or returned.

Only one referral reward may be earned per Referred Friend.

If a Referred Friend receives referral links from multiple Referrers, only the Referrer whose referral link was used for the qualifying purchase will receive the referral reward.

5. Coupon Use

Referral coupons:

  • Are valid only on qualifying purchases that meet the minimum purchase requirement.
  • Must be entered manually during checkout.
  • Cannot be applied to previous purchases.
  • Cannot be applied after an order has been placed.
  • May only be used once unless otherwise stated.
  • Cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discount codes unless otherwise specified by STONZ.
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash, gift cards, shipping charges, taxes, or previous purchases.
  • Coupon codes are eligible on regular priced items.

6. Referral Rules & Restrictions

Participants may share their referral link with friends and family through personal communication channels.

Participants may not:

  • Refer themselves using another email address.
  • Create multiple accounts to earn additional rewards.
  • Send unsolicited commercial emails or spam.
  • Publish referral links on coupon or discount websites.
  • Post referral links on deal-sharing websites or public forums intended primarily for distributing promotional offers.
  • Use bots, automated systems, or paid advertising to distribute referral links.
  • Sell, transfer, or reproduce referral rewards.

STONZ reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity and may withhold, delay, revoke, or cancel rewards if fraudulent or abusive activity is suspected.

7. Returns & Cancellations

Referral rewards are only earned on completed qualifying purchases.

If the Referred Friend's qualifying order is:

  • Cancelled,
  • Refunded,
  • Returned in full, or
  • Determined to be fraudulent,

the Referrer will not receive the referral reward. If a reward has already been issued, STONZ reserves the right to revoke it.

8. Privacy

Participation in the Referral Program requires the collection of personal information, including email addresses, in order to:

  • Operate the Referral Program.
  • Deliver referral rewards.
  • Verify qualifying referrals.
  • Prevent fraud.
  • Communicate Referral Program updates.

All personal information is collected and handled in accordance with the STONZ Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

STONZ is not responsible for:

  • Lost, delayed, blocked, or undelivered referral emails.
  • Technical issues that prevent referral links or coupon codes from functioning properly.
  • Unauthorized use of referral links or coupon codes.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Referral Program.

10. Modification or Termination

STONZ reserves the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Referral Program at any time.
  • Change referral rewards, eligibility requirements, or program rules without prior notice.
  • Suspend or terminate any participant's access to the Referral Program if these Referral Terms are violated or fraudulent activity is suspected.

11. Governing Law

These Referral Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes relating to the Referral Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
