Description
Le Snow Mitt Kid est conçu pour offrir protection, chaleur et confort tout au long de la journée dans des conditions hivernales. Conçues pour résister au froid jusqu'à -20Ces moufles sont dotées d'une isolation 3M™ Thinsulate™ 150G pour une chaleur légère et d'une doublure en polaire douce pour un confort douillet. Une membrane TPU entièrement imperméable entre la coque extérieure et la doublure garde les mains au sec dans la neige, la gadoue et les conditions humides. Le pouce recouvert de polaire permet aux enfants de s'essuyer le nez sans irritation. Conçues pour s'enfiler et s'enlever facilement, ces moufles s'adaptent aux manches des vestes, avec un poignet élastique et une fermeture à glissière sur le bord supérieur pour un ajustement sûr et durable. La coque extérieure en nylon Oxford durable offre une protection coupe-vent, tandis que la paume enduite de PU améliore l'adhérence et la durabilité. Lorsqu'elles ne sont pas utilisées, un clip intégré maintient les moufles ensemble, pour qu'elles soient toujours faciles à trouver. Care
To keep your Snow Mitts looking their best:
- Cold water machine wash on delicate cycle
- Hang to dry
- Do not use heat
- Do not iron
- Carefully turn the mitts inside out, ensuring all layers are pulled out in one go to avoid damaging the attachment between the layers

They might remove this review, but within a month of wearing the stitching started to come apart! Also my kids hands were wet inside. I have friends that got Reima gloves and their kids hands were dry all day!!

After reviewing the photos you provided, it appears the pair you received is from our previous Snow Mitts design. We’ve since introduced a new version for FW25 with improved construction, durability, and overall performance.

These mittens are easy to put on and stay on. They keep hands dry and warm in all weather. The arm could be longer on this new pair.

I have bought different winter mitts for my kid and she would just pull them off shortly after and refused to put them back on. Stonz's one is the only pair she leaves them on while she plays.

Like other things we've bought from stonz, the design is really great but they just don't hold up and fall apart within one season.

I think Stonz wants to provide a quality product. I'd recommend Stonz products in general. For some, these mittens will meet their needs, making then 5 stars. For us, they do not meet the requirements.
I've owed 3 pairs of Stonz mittens (bought in 2022 & 2024). They were highly recommend by blog posts.
We spend a lot of time in the mountains. We ski 20+ days. We spend a lot of time in the snow. The gear matters.
None of the mittens come close to meeting the claim of "waterproof". The mittens are soaked through within 3 hours of outdoor activity. To dry, these mittens requires time and effort. The waterproof layer seems to allow water in, but hinders the drying of the internal mitten. Easy to get wet, difficult to dry.
Wind flows through the exterior material. Try sticking your hand in your child's mitten on your next chairlift ride. Not great for skiing or winter activities.
Porous wet gloves are not warm.
These might be good for an infant but for our needs, we have moved on to a better designed product.

I believe we bought these last year for my son. He wore them maybe once since this weekend as it was too cold to even play outside yet. After wearing these gloves for a short amount of time, he started screaming and complaining about his hands. They were not wet, but freezing. It was definitely not anywhere near -20 out either. Scared for him to wear these again. 😔

With having 4 kids, I’ve tried many mitts and these are our favourite by far! They actually are waterproof and keep their hands warm, even during cold Canadian winters 10/10 recommend

We used the size guide and ordered the same size as we used previous years. We should have ignored the guide and sized up. The new version is way smaller, and the quality feels different.
We have love Stonz, but are disappointed with the 2025/2026 Winter line.
